Joanne Edwards

Joanne Edwards, 75, of Berwick, passed away peacefully after a yearlong battle with cancer, Friday, November 21, 2025 at Celebration Villa, Berwick.
Born August 25, 1950 in Berwick, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Paul Kliss and Eleanor Louise (Petrovich) Kliss Gay.
Mrs. Edwards received her diploma for her nurse's aide requirement on December of 1969. After receiving her degree, she worked in several nursing homes over the years in the area.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Berwick.
Joanne enjoyed dalmatian puppies, collecting many bears, shopping, and junk food, especially chocolate.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Edwards, whom she married December 24, 1987; a brother, Joseph Kliss; and a sister, Louise Kliss Rozycki.
Joanne is survived by her stepsister and caregiver, Laurie Drake and her husband, William, of Berwick; two stepbrothers: Thomas Gay and his wife, Chris, of Millville, and James Gay and his wife, Maria, of Sebastian, FL; a sister, Martha Miller and her husband, Ken, of Wisconsin; and a brother, David Kliss and his wife, JoAnne, of Hummelstown.
At Joanne's request, private graveside services will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA, where she will be buried with her husband, Lewis.
