Joanne Groger, age 80 of Edina passed away at University of Minnesota Hospital on Friday, February 21, 2025.
A leap year baby born February 29, 1944 in Rochester, MN, Joanne grew up in Minneapolis, attending Washburn High School and graduating from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Interior Design.
Joanne enjoyed a long career with Delta Dental of Minnesota. Joanne was a strong, independent, caring person who always strove to make the world a better place.
She was preceded in death by her parents Chester and Emma Groger.
She is survived by her brothers Robert (Donna Weispfenning) and Richard (Don Yager).
A private family burial will be held in St. Charles, MN.
Memorials are suggested to an amazing organization that was important to Joanne, Open Arms of Minnesota.
