Joanne Haider Obituary

Born January 8th, 1937, in Fenton, Iowa. Joanne was preceded in death by parents Leland and Margaret Hantleman, sister Doris Toms and daughter Melinda Fransdal (David).
Survived by children Salina, Carl (Olga), Jim (Shelley), Caroline (Mike), Eric, and Roger; grandchildren Johnathon (Emilce), Christopher (Olga), Libby (David), Amanda, Murray, Sam, Alex, Ganna, and Chelsea, great-grandchildren Gabito, Rafa, Miko, Steven, and Miriam; siblings Orma Pitoscia, Craig (Christie) Hantleman, and Patricia Barry, she was formerly married to Jerry Haider.
Joanne worked for decades as a waitress at the Convention Grill in Edina, MN where her kindness, dedication, and bright spirit endeared her to coworkers and patrons alike.
Joanne was a devout Jehovah's Witness and found deep faith and comfort in her beliefs. Joanne was a devoted mother to her children, and she cherished every moment she spent with them. Her compassion, warmth, and devotion to her family and faith will be remembered always.
Celebration of Life at the Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, 5000 W 50th St. Edina MN, Monday November 17th, Visitation at 10:00 AM, Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM, followed by a reception.
