Joanne M Kukulski, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, left this world on November 28, 2025, succumbing to the trials of life but, as fate would have it, finally at peace. Born on April 16, 1957, in Chicago, Illinois.
She is survived by her children, Justin Kukulski and his wife Stephanie, Kyle Kukulski, and Kasey Kukulski with her fiancé Nick. The legacy of her nurturing spirit extends into the hearts of her beloved grandchildren: Paityn, Abigail, Ben, Kourtney, Anthony, Carson, Cameron, Dominic, Andrew and Chloe.
Devoted Sister to Bernadette Wozniak (late Dave), Andrew Hanik (late Patricia), Rosemarie Nielsen (Borge), Susan Wozniak (Dennis), Mary Peters (Charles), Christine Laskero (Michael), Margaret Wood (Richard), Thomas Hanik, and John Hanik (Kimberly). Loved by many nieces and nephews.
Joanne was shaped by the gentle guidance of her mother, Lillian Soucie Hanik, now departed from this world, and her father, Andrew Hanik. Their absence weighs heavily upon the family. Joanne's life will be commemorated with a service on December 10, 2025, at St. Alexander Catholic Church in Palos Heights, Illinois. Family and friends will gather to honor her memory, a time for reflection on the passages of her life that have touched so many souls. The service begins at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers please make a contribution to the Testimony Ministry.
