Dear Cousins Catherine and Virginia:
Think about the two of you everyday.
I am sharing your sorrow. Joann was a wonderful, loving. and caring sister to you and cousin to me. She was always friendly, welcoming and cheerful to everyone. Her students loved her. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. RIP my dear cousin.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the family of Joanne Phin. Miss Latella, as we knew her in th 70's, was one of the kindest, sweetest teacher in Rye Neck High School. I always loved going to class. She always greeted us with a smile and made learning Spanish fun. I am so sad to hear of her passing.she taught us A few songs in Spanish and I still think of her today when I hear them I pray she is resting in peace.
