Joanne Elizabeth "Jo" Ressler

July 16, 1933 - October 3, 2025

NORMAL, IL - Joanne Elizabeth "Jo" Ressler, 92, of Normal, passed away at 4:47 p.m., on Friday, October 3, 2025 at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.

Her private family graveside service will be held at Funks Grove Cemetery in McLean, Illinois. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church in Bloomington.

Jo was born on July 16, 1933, on her family farm in Fairbury, a daughter to William and Carrie (Brown) Miller. She married Ellis E. "Gene" Ressler, Jr. on November 23, 1955 at University Christian Church in Normal. He preceded her in death on December 10, 2023.

Surviving are her son, David (Stacie) Ressler of Fullerton, California, and granddaughter, Megan Ressler of Fullerton, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Alberta Adreon, and brother, Eldon Miller.
