JoAnne Franklin Wright, 90, of Dalton, GA passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026.

She was born in Augusta, Georgia to the late Lottie and Robert Franklin. She was a long-time member of Dalton First United Methodist Church.

JoAnne is survived by her husband Tom Wright; daughter Laura Bock (Chris); sons Tom Wright, Jr. (Wendy) of Dunwoody, GA and Bobby Wright (Holly) of Eatonton, GA. She is also survived by her grandchildren Margaret Hart (Ryan), Cassidy Foskey (Wes), Garrett Wright, Rob Wright, Ashley Wright and Brendan Wright; her great-grandchildren Ron Hart, Blakely Foskey, Lily Hart and Wright Foskey; her sister-in-law Martha Wright, a niece, and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 14th at Dalton First United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 pm in the Atrium of the church. JoAnne will be laid to rest in West Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dalton First United Methodist Church, 500 S. Thornton Ave. Dalton, GA 30720.
