Joaquin Andrew Rose

Turlock, California - Joaquin was born November 30, 1935 to Joaquin and Augusta Rose. He attended Johnson Joint and graduated from Turlock High School in 1953. Joaquin graduated Modesto Junior College, where he met his wife of 66 years, Myrna.

Joaquin dedicated himself to his endeavors and his beliefs, supporting family, friends, church and his community. He was the man who always answered the phone, willing to help whoever was in need. Joaquin proudly served in the California National Guard for ten years. He was past president of the Turlock Community Theater; partner in the creation of Lake Don Pedro Marina and past president of the Don Pedro Association as well as Eucharistic Minister for Sacred Heart Church until the age of 84. Joaquin started working for B & B Manufacturing Company at the age of 17, eventually purchasing it in 1966 and continuing to work until age 88.

Joaquin thought of others first, reaching out to help however he could. His family was of utmost importance to him, especially the love for his wife, children and grandchildren.

Joaquin is survived by his wife, Myrna, brother, Lawrence (Brenda), children, David (Elena), Diane and Michael (Marty), and grandchildren, Joseph (Jerricka), Angeline, Andrew, Anthony and Anastasiia and many cousins, nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.

Visitation will be held at Turlock Funeral Home on Wednesday November 10, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Rosary will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on November 11, 2025 at noon, followed by a funeral Mass at 12:30 p.m. After service, a reception will be held.
