Job "Yop Yak" Agbulos Huang was born in Sta. Maria, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, on April 12, 1945. The eldest of six children, he was a devoted son to his Chinese father, James Huang, and his Filipino mother, Trinidad Huang. From a young age, Job carried a spirit of integrity, unconditional love, service, wisdom, and joy - qualities that poured into everything he did. He began his professional life managing his father's insurance business, but his greatest adventure began in 1967, when he met the woman he knew he would one day marry - Josie.

When Josie moved to Hilo, Hawaii in 1969, Job knew he had to follow his heart. He surprised her there and, true to his romantic nature, asked her to marry him. They married on March 7, 1970, in Hilo, and that same year they moved to Seattle, Washington - a place that became their lifelong home. Job and Josie paved the way for the rest of their family to migrate from the Philippines to the United States.

In 1973, they welcomed their first daughter, Jessie, and in 1980, their second daughter, Jamie. Job was the best father - patient, loving, supportive, a steady place of safety and wise teacher of life. Over the years, he worked many jobs: farming alongside Josie, serving as an insurance agent for Prudential Insurance Co. and Pay & Save, and ultimately building a long, respected career as a manager with the U.S. Postal Service, where he was both loved and highly regarded.

After retiring in June 2005, he embraced his favorite role of all - being "Papa," the proud grandfather to RJ, Jadyn, Tyrus, and Jewel. He poured endless love, care, and attention into each of them, finding joy in even the smallest moments.

Job loved music and had the gift of playing the piano, harmonica, and ukulele by ear. He joyfully sang in the church choir and was known for his warm smile, his gentle humor, and the light he brought into every room - especially at family gatherings. He celebrated every occasion wholeheartedly with his wife, daughters, son-in-laws and grandchildren. Being half Chinese and half Filipino, he spoke multiple languages - English, Tagalog, Ilocano, and Fokien. He also loved experiencing other cultures and traveled the world with Josie and their close friends. One of his favorite places was traveling to Hawaii with his family.

Above all, Job's heart belonged to God and to his family. He loved deeply, lived with gratitude, and taught through his example what it means to be humble, joyful, faithful, and full of integrity.

As we celebrate his life today, we take comfort in knowing that he is at peace - reunited with loved ones and wrapped in the divine love he carried within him all his life. Though we will deeply miss his presence, his wisdom, his music, and his light, his legacy lives on in every heart he touched.

"Well done, good and faithful servant." - Matthew 25:21
