JoBeth Fiori Obituary
JB is preceded in death by her Father, Matthew Fiori; Mother, Madge Butler Fiori; and Sister, Cynthia (Jim) Biwer.
JB leaves behind: Sisters, Linda Buckalew, Laura (Jeff) Hakes, Brenda Fiori and Lisa Buck; Niece, Jessica Fiori; Nephews, Joshua (Niki) Hakes, Kevin (Cindy) Buckalew, Kendall (Samantha) Buckalew and Jacob (Katie) Biwer; Great Niece, Anna Buckalew; Great Nephews, Ben Hakes, Nolan Hakes, NJ Buckalew and JuJu Buckalew.
JB began life, battling cancer in 1954, at Iowa City Hospital. Through the love and determination provided by her family and the knowledge of her doctors, JB was cured of cancer through use of radiation, which was only being experimented with at the time. She was a 1973 Graduate of Woodward-Granger High School, and went on to work in the medical profession as a Paramedic, for over 20 years. She was instrumental in starting up the Granger Volunteer Ambulance. She also cared for many helpless animals suffering from medical issues over the years.
Family was a priority for JB and remained at the center of her life.
Visitation will be 10 AM - 12 PM, Monday, March 10, 2025 at Iles Brandt Chapel, 1301 Ash Street, Dallas Center with a 12:30 PM Graveside service at Brethren Cemetery, Dallas Center.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to Laura Hakes, P.O. Box 211, Dallas Center, Iowa 50063.
