Jocelyn Albertha Walcott

Jocelyn was born in Port-of-Spain Trinidad. She came to the USA in pursuit of a better life for herself and her children. She became a second mother to many. She had an open door and feed many of her children's friends. She is survived by her husband of over 40 years - Herbert Walcott, her six children– Margaret Thompson, Terrance Marshall, Donna Walcott, Yvette Turner, Wayne Walcott, Abigail Walcott and her Step Daughter - Carroll Richie, 9 grandchildren – the late Andre Steed, Terrance Marshall, Jr., Devon Hughes, Remy Walcott, Kristian Turner, Jelisha Walcott, Afriyie Turner, Shanice Walcott, Jada Hughes & Kahari Walcott, 3 Son in Laws- Kirby Turner, Winston Stanford & Michael Thompson and a daughter in law, Dorothy Walcott. She also survived by her 6 Sisters - Yvonne Marshall, Cynthia Taylor, Gloria Robinson, Maize Blackman, Melvina Brorman, Janet Marshall and a brother Maxfield Marshall. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews and many close friends. Her going home service will be held on Tuesday February 21, 2012 at St. Nicholas Episcopal Church 15575 Germantown Rd Germantown, Md 20874. There will be a repast directly after service at the church.
