Jocille Sutton Robison, 94, of Whatley, passed away on December 13, 2025, at The Retreat at SAAD Hospice in Mobile. Jocille was born in Whatley on September 29, 1931, to parents Joseph E. Sutton and Vera Lucille Sutton. Shortly after graduating from high school Jocille furthered her education and became a Registered Nurse, she worked at Polk County Hospital in Georgia but later moved back home and had a rewarding career at Grove Hill Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed traveling to visit family and friends with her husband, Winston. Jocille was a caring person, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband John W. Robison, son Benjamin Sutton Robison, and her sister Mary Ann Whitfield.
Survived by her sons; Rodger Dale Robison and James Burton (Sharon) Robison, grandchildren; Benjamin Sutton Robison Jr., Dustin Michael Robison, Brandon Mark Robison, Jason Christopher Robison, Brian Boudeaux, and Jennifer Boudeaux, also 6 great grandchildren, many extended family members and loving friends.
Pallbearers will be Larry Parden, Gary Parden, Terry Powell, Josh Robinson, Derrick Robinson, and William McConnell.
Funeral services will be at 11 am on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Lathan Funeral Home in Grove Hill with a visitation one hour prior to services. Bro. Warren Shoemake will be officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing.
