Jodi Lynn Holmes

I had the great pleasure and privilege of directing Jodi in several musicals over the years, not the least of which were Huntington's production of Edwin Drood and Sound of Music. Her radiant stage presence and crystal clear soprano voice elevated both productions and earned her well-deserved praise by both audiences and critics. But it was her professional work ethic, dry sense of humor, warmth, and patience that endeared her to her fellow cast members and made her such a joy to work with. And courage! She attacked Rosa Bud's impossibly high notes beautifully every single night...and then said she knew she could do better next time. So grateful I got to know her. So saddened by the loss to her family, friends, and the Cleveland theatre community at large.

The Clague Playhouse family is suffering the all-too-soon loss of actress Jodi.
She graced our stage with her talent and her voice.
She graced our lives with her energy and immense joy and enthusiasm.
But we are sure that her message would be to do the same. To live with gusto -- today.
And so, in her honor, we believe "The Show Must Go On". And therefore thank her family and friends for sharing her beauty with us.
