Jodi A. (Nitterhouse) Karper, 56, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away January 22, 2026. She was born February 15, 1969 in Chambersburg, PA, to Joe C. and Judith A. (Kriner) Nitterhouse.

Before becoming a homemaker, Jodi worked as a secretary at South Mountain Restoration Center and Scotland School for Veterans' Children. Jodi was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Williamson. Jodi loved playing piano and instilled this love in both of her children, who with Jodi and her mother, made three generations of piano accompanists for the CASHS Glee Club. She enjoyed watching scary movies; decorating her home for holidays, especially Christmas; and visiting the local coffee shop to indulge in lattes and crepes. She loved animals and had adopted all of them from the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter.

In addition to her father, Jodi is survived by her husband of 33 years Glenn Karper and their two children; Elizabeth Karper (fiancé of Stephen) and Brendan Karper; brother Jason Nitterhouse (husband of Virginia), and nephew Jaren Nitterhouse. She is also survived by uncles Kevin and Casey Kriner and their families.

She was preceded in death by her mother, in 2021, as well as her brother-in-law Paul "PJ" in 2022.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 1:30 PM, at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg, PA, with Rev. Martin Horn and Rev. Alan Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends for a half hour prior to the service. Interment will be at St. Thomas Cemetery.
