On the afternoon of April 26th, 2022, we lost our beloved Jodi to complications of diabetes. She died peacefully at her home as was her final wish. Jodi was 65 years old and her loss will be felt by all who knew and loved her.

Jodi was a Utah native, born in Salt Lake City in 1956, the eldest of 4 children. She resided primarily in the Davis County area for most of her life. At the time of her death, she was residing in Fruit Heights, Utah.

Jodi attended Viewmont High School in Bountiful, Utah, where she graduated in 1974. She worked as a secretary for Meditech, Inc. for 30 years before retiring at the age of 63.

Jodi married Gary McCall in Elko, Nevada on January 6, 1990 and they remained happily married for 32 years. Jodi and Gary did not have children but were blessed with a large extended family and with 6 nephews and 1 niece, who were all loved and cherished just as if they were their own kids.

Jodi loved the outdoors and she loved to camp out in the High Uintas and at Lake Powell and Bear Lake with her family and friends. Jodi was happiest when she could take an RV trip to the national parks or into the back country, needing nothing more than to relax in the splendor and beauty of nature.

Jodi was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Davis and her brother Joshua Davis.

Jodi is survived by her mother, Jari Davis, her sister, Julle Edwards, her brother, Jason Davis, and her husband, Gary McCall.

A viewing will be held for Jodi on Saturday April 30, 2022 from 1 PM to 4 PM at Russon Mortuary, 1941 North Main Street, Farmington, Utah.

The family would ask that anyone wishing to provide comfort, please do so by making a donation to the American Diabetes Association: https://diabetes.org
