It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jodi, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, friend and mother. Jodi was born on August 21, 1958, in Peterborough, Ontario, to Barbara and Clifford Case. She was a devoted mother to her two children, Lauren, Taylor and Taylor's partner Tessa. She was a wonderful sister to Lisa, Andrew, Jeff and their partners.

Jodi was a trailblazer in many ways. Her entrepreneurial drive led her to launch a number of ventures over the years-from her delicious homemade BBQ sauce to an early home-cooked meal delivery service, and later, a successful interior design consultancy.

Jodi was also a published author. The story Poodle Town was a heartfelt reflection of the themes closest to her: love in the face of differences, connection through everyday experiences, and the beautiful bond shared among adults, children, and, of course, dogs. Speaking of Jodi's dogs-Wally, Macy , Stella, Maggie and Jules all played a part in her story.

Jodi was a woman of strong principles, quiet resilience, and unwavering character. She faced life's many challenges with grace, courage, and determination. Her witty humor often made us laugh out loud. Above all, she was a fearless and devoted mother, a role she embraced with immense pride and love.

She leaves behind a legacy of strength, creativity, and boundless love.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
