Jody Jackson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by White Funeral Home - Apple Valley on Mar. 31, 2026.
Jody Ann Jackson, age 69, of Apple Valley, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on March 28, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Osking and JoAnn Mack, her brother, Tommy Osking. And her stepfather, Jerry Mack.

Jody is survived by her loving husband, Charles; her children, Cameron (Jenny) Jackson and Galinda Jackson; her siblings, Tim (Nicky) Osking and Jackie Osking (Gregg Mellberg);her step siblings JoAnn (Bill) Blanchard and Leanda (Duane) Cheney, Patrick Mack, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends, including Marge Jensen, and her daughters Geri Lynn, Judy, and Patty. They, along with Ronnie Joe, Marge's son, were her second family.

Jody's love for Cameron and Galinda was huge she was always there to wipe away any tears, and smother them with loving hugs, support and walk with them side by side through their life journeys. Cameron had recently married Jenny, and Jody was so happy to call Jenny her daughter in law. Jenny came with a bonus, her parents Keith and Natalie Willaert, who became dear friends and travel companions of Jody and Charles. Her husband, Charles, was her rock. Many times Jody announced "I have the best husband". And Bailey, the enthusiastic golden doodle, was a constant companion.

Jody had a kind heart and an infectious laugh, and her love of leopard print was legendary. Lounging by the pool of her best friend, Geri Lynn Anderson, was a summer treat of gossip and giggles. Jody could float on a noodle for hours. She also loved being up north at a cabin; any cabin.

She had a long career at Delta, where she worked in reservations. She recently retired, and was definitely not struggling with the transition.

Jody will be missed deeply by her husband, her kids, her siblings and her friends. May she find peace and gentle rest.

Jody's service will be on Thursday April 16, at White Funeral Home, Apple Valley Chapel /14560 Pennock Ave. Visitation will begin at 10-AM, Service will begin at 11AM.

Interment will be on Tuesday April 21, 1:30PM at Fort Snelling.
