Jody Allen Leazer, 55, of Mooresville, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024.
He was born on December 6, 1968 in Cabarrus County, NC, to GW and Doris Hall Leazer. Jody was co-owner and operator of Mooresville Dragway for many years. He enjoyed farming, racing, working, and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, GW and Doris, he is survived by his wife, Wendy Bateman Leazer; children, Corey Leazer, Blake Leazer, Austin Leazer; grandson, Jaxson Leazer; sister, Kathy Leazer Gillan; brother, Doug Leazer and wife, Lisa; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 20 from 6:00-7:00 PM with a service following at 7:00 PM at the chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.
