Joe, I couldn't have asked for a better boss early in my career at GAO. Thank you for the many opportunities you gave me for learning the ropes, including conducting my first briefing to congressional clients on the results of our work. And you made sure we had fun along the way--from being one of the Rudys, making a point of getting a glimpse at the World Famous Tower Tree during a trip to the Midwest, to giving my boys piggyback rides in your back yard. Godspeed to you.

Joe was not only a wonderful colleague of mine at GAO but also a bother veteran. He had a great sense of humor. It is going to be a personal honor for me to salute Joe at Ft. Logan as part of final military honors. Rest in Peace my brother.

My condolences to the Buschy family. Joe was simply the Best (smart, funny, a great analyst, my GAO mentor). Love you Joe!

I worked at the same Denver GAO office as Joe and remember his outgoing personality as well as his eagerness to retire. I am glad he and his wife were able to travel so much during their time together. My condolences to the entire family.
