I didn't know Pastor David well, but I always admired, respected and appreciated him for his talent, humor and dedication to his family and to his church. I loved the choice of songs for the choir; I also loved to hear David and Marcia sing together and individually. His love for his family was always so evident, and my heart goes out to them. Although there is a sense of peace, we all grieve for Pastor David. At least we all know where he is now - still singing and praising God. Wanda Fuller

My deepest condolences and heart-felt prayers go out to the Elder family. I loved David's heart for Jesus and singing His praises. The traditional service was a highlight of my week, and I always enjoyed his creativity and sanctified humor when leading the service. Look forward to seeing you again, bro, in the Kingdom! Maranatha!

We appreciated David sharing with us the history of hymns and especially carols at Christmas. He was always interesting and we enjoyed his sense of humor too. We miss him already.

David is so humble man of God. He was willing to work with me when we went ahead to sing together "Glorious Day" him using his beautiful voice as I used American Sign Language back on April 18, 2021. My prayers are with you and your family during these times, knowing he is dancing on the streets of gold and singing with Jesus eternally.
