Dear Elmore Family,
My sympathy and prayers are with you at this sad time.
I coordinated and sang with the holiday carolers at the Piedmont Club for thirteen years.
Each December Mr. Elmore requested we sing "White Christmas" at his table, saying it was his favorite song. His face would have a happy expression as we sang it for him and he always thanked us. Today, I sang it again for him after reading his obituary.
My husband and I often saw Mr. and Mrs. Elmore seated at their round table when we dined at The Peddler. Mr. Elmore would speak to us as we crossed through the dining area or as we were leaving.

My thoughts and prayers are with Miss Pat and the entire family. I feel so blessed to have known such a wonderfully sweet and kind man. I loved him very much. It will be the little things that you will remember, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter. Although it is very hard right now, it will be the memories of these little things that help to push away the pain in time and bring the smiles back again.
