Mr. Joe Rodger "Rod" Fant, Jr., age 77, entered into rest on Thursday August 28, 2025 in Aiken, South Carolina.

He is survived by his two nephews, Jason (Leslie) Redd, Bryan (Dee Dee) Redd; and a host of cousins.

Born on May 30, 1948 in Union, South Carolina, he is the son of the late Joe R. Fant, Sr. and Dorothy Vaughn Fant.

Mr. Fant proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date at Union Memorial Gardens in Union, South Carolina.

Jackson Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with these arrangements.
