Memorial service for Joe Willie Florence, 87, of Scottsdale, AZ, formerly Valley, AL, will be at 3:00 p.m., Monday, April 24, 2023, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor W.G. Wimberly will officiate.
Mr. Florence, who passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at his home in Scottsdale, AZ, was born February 9, 1936 in Chambers County, Alabama.
He leaves to cherish his memory: one daughter, Elaine Florence of Scottsdale, AZ; eight nieces, Linda Peterson, Vanessa (Kenneth) Leadbetter both Fayetteville, NC, Lisha (Aaron) Florence of Stockbridge, GA, Armealia (Antwane) Robinson of McDonough, GA, Debra Glenn, Chyristal (Phillip) Florence both of Valley, AL, Trine Calloway of Chicago, IL and Tammy Calloway of Aurora, IL; five nephews, Willie (Peggy) Florence of Sunora, CA, TyMetrec (Jomuna) Florence of Fayetteville, NC, Larry Bailey of Decatur, GA, James (Delilah) Florence, Jr., of Valley, AL and Larry (Elaine) Calloway of Oakbrook, IL; one sister-in-law, Addilaye Florence of Fayetteville, NC; one close friend, Bobby Reed of Valley, AL; a host of great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews, family and friends.
