Joe Gonzales, Jr. passed away on October 4, 2024. He was born February 12, 1962 to Joe Gonzales Sr, and Ramona Tovar in Waco, Texas. A Memorial Visitation will be October 17, 2024, from 6-8 PM at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco, Texas.

Joe was known for having tough love. A hard outer shell, yet he loved to laugh and was a loveable guy on the inside. Being tough and firm and hard to love at times, he loved in his own way. One of his favorite things he would say to others was, “Always letting me down.” He loved watching western movies, drinking beer and keeping his cars clean and shiny. He liked his Black and Mild and Swisher Sweets, and would never pass up a chocolate candy bar or a Big Red. He was loved by his family, and they would not trade him for anything. “Hell altogether.”

Joe is preceded in death by his father, granddaughter, Eliana Laret Gonzales, and brother Johnny Ray Gonzales. He is survived by his mother, his son, Joe Gonzales III and wife Reina, his daughter Stevie Gonzales and wife Brianna, his grandchildren Joey, Zoie, Emberlie, and Nastyn. He is also survived by his sister Yvette Garcia, his nephews Nick Jiminez, Paul Garcia III, and his great nephew Little Nick Jiminez.
