Joe Green Obituary
"Joe" was born in Logan, Kansas, the second of two children of Joseph and Violet Vielguth. Joe was married to Dale Green of Speed, Kansas for 66 years. They lived in Phillipsburg, Kansas, with their five daughters, Connie Marie (Onyon), Wanda Sue (McGann), Cindy Lou (Gagnebin), Cathy Kay (Ramirez) and Mitzi Lea (Johnston).
The family moved to California in 1965, first in San Jose and then settling in Milpitas. Upon becoming "empty nesters", Dale & Joe moved to Redding, California and later called Kingman, Arizona home until relocating to Placerville.
Joe loved her big family and the feeling was mutual. She particularly enjoyed family gatherings and engaging in games such as Pitch and Yahtzee.
Joe was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Junior Vielguth, her husband and two son-in laws, Mike Gagnebin and Ray Onyon.
Joe leaves behind her five daughters, two son in-laws, George Ramirez and Patrick Johnston, seventeen grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
