Joe G. Hirt

Joe Galon Hirt was born July 7, 1989, to Nolan "Johnny" and Cathy Hirt in Tyler, TX. He arrived at his heavenly home on August 25, 2023.
Joe graduated from Chapel Hill High School in 2007 where he was an active member of the band. He was also highly active in youth groups and missions at Marvin Church.
Joe loved computers and technology which led him to pursue a degree from Westwood University in Multimedia and Graphic Design.
Joe had a love for design and used his skills to harness his creative spirit. He was always on a project redecorating, refinishing, switching out décor and more. Joe had a deep love for pets, especially dogs. Joe also loved to help throw epic festivals and parties, including helping with the famous neighborhood festival during Mission Week.
Joe is survived by his parents, Johnny and Cathy; his sister, Stacey (Kirk); his nephew, EJ; his loving dog, Spencer; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and chosen family.
Memorial services for Joe will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Stewart Family Funeral Home with Rev. Gerry Giles officiating. Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to service.
