Joe LaValley, Jr.
December 14, 1961 – August 14, 2024
Joe LaValley Jr. 62, of West Amboy, NY; went home to be with the lord on Wednesday August 14, 2024. Joe was born December 14, 1961, to Ronald J. LaValley Sr. and Kathryn M. LaValley. Predeceased by his parents Ronald and Kathryn; Brothers Brian and Dale LaValley and his son Keith LaValley.
Joe was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and a friend to all.
Joe was a pastor for 20 years at the West Amboy Community church. For twenty-one years Joe was a custodian for APW School District. Joe enjoyed racing cars in his younger years then became a racing fan in the stands and would attend weekly. Joe's passions were wood working, crafting, and visiting Disney World with his wife and family.
Leaving behind his loving wife, happily married for twenty years to Gail LaValley. Siblings he leaves behind Melody (Craig), Nolie (Duffer), Jamie and Melissa: Children – Shannon (Scott), Jessica (Cardinal), Tim, Courtney (Mitch), Regen (Ken), Mathew (Angela) and Bobbie (Brian). Grandchildren: Aubrey (Tommy), Blake, Chole, Ashley (Josiah), Austin (Liv), Carah, Joey, Ava, Jordan, Brooklyn, Troy, Jacob, Adelyn, Maddison, Brian Dale, Brayden, and Brilee: Great granddaughter – Raelynn LaValley; along with many nieces and nephews.
Joe (Dad) was always up for spending time with his family and friends, some would say he was the best cook. Joe always made time for anyone who needed a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen to them. Joe took pride in being kind and showed kindness to all.
Gone but, not forgotten.

Funeral Services will be celebrated at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from LaRobardiere Funeral Home, 109 Main Street, Camden, NY. Relatives and Friends are invited to call from 3 – 6 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at the West Amboy Community Church, 1267 County Route 26, Williamstown NY, 13493
