JOE WILLIAM LIVINGSTON, 77, of Jacksonville, passed away suddenly at his residence. The Jacksonville native was one of three born to William Earl and Mary Juanita Holden Livingston, who preceded him in death. Joe was born special and never had a formal occupation other than loving everyone and making them laugh. He attended Spring Garden School and ruled the school calling it “his school”. He pretty much had the teachers and administration wrapped around his little finger because he could get away with anything and keep them laughing. He was always such a happy-go-lucky person and never saw the negative in the world. He loved The Dukes of Hazzard and would constantly sing “just the good old boys”. Everyone needs a Joe in their life. He is survived by his brother: Dana (Wanda) Livingston; sister: Marie (Jimmy) Adams; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Visitation will be held Friday, December 22, 2023 from 6-8 PM at Dansby Heritage Chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 23 at 10:00 AM from Dansby Heritage Chapel with Rev. Michael Yates officiating. Burial will follow in West Point Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bubba (Stephen) Livingston, Jr., Forrest Livingston, Hunter Livingston, Tristan Yates, Fisher Adams, and Levi Adams. Honorary pallbearers will be Dana Livingston, Steven Livingston, Sr., and Luke Adams. Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Livingston Family.
