Joe Lynn, also known as "Mama Joe", was a warm and caring person who was loved by many. She touched the lives of everyone that she came in contact with in a loving and positive manner. It was her joy and delight to converse and dialogue for hours with her family and friends. Joe Lynn was an avid Bible reader. "Mama Joe" was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Jones; mother, Lula Mae Thompson-Jones; siblings, Francis Phillips, Patricia Ann Lewis, Allie Mae Jones, Calvin Jones, and Dorothy Jones; and daughter, Genice Jones.

"Mama Joe" leaves to cherish her memories, daughters, Jeannie Jones and Barbara Jones both of Monticello, Arkansas; one son, Kelvin (Valerie) Jones of Monticello, Arkansas; one son in law, Vernell Battle, Jr. of Los Angeles, California; one sister, Judy (John, Sr.) Ferrell of Monticello, Arkansas; one brother, James (Joyce) Jones of Waynesville, Missouri; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
