Chase Mills: Webster Boyce Premo "Joe", passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the Alice Center in Malone, NY at the age of 89. He was born on December 20th, 1935, in Fort Covington, NY to the late William and Myrtle (Benore) Premo. Joe is survived by his sons Mike Premo and spouse Shelly of Chateaugay, NY, Ricky Premo of Vergennes, VT, stepsons David Cole and his wife Tammy of Douglasville, GA, Doug Cole and companion Kimber Petrie of Canton NY. Joe is also survived by his brother Walter Premo of Fort Covington Center, a sister-in-law Linda Burke and husband Randy of Potsdam along with several grandchildren, step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, wife Donalda, daughter Lynn, sister Bernice Premo Phelix and Brother-in-law-Vernon Phelix, William Matthew's and sister-in-law Jenny Premo.

He was employed for 30 years at General Motors until his retirement in 1989. He also served in the US Army as SP4 from 1954-1957.

Joe loved the outdoors and spent many hours fishing and hunting. He loved his dogs over the years, and "Bandit" held the special spot as his last one. He enjoyed playing hockey in his youth and was a lifelong Montreal Canadian fan.

As per his wishes there will be no public calling hours. A graveside service with full military honors will be held in the West Potsdam Cemetery on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 1:00pm.

The family has entrusted arrangements to the care and direction of the Phillips Memorial Home.
