I had the misfortune of knowing Joe for only a short time when he first began playing pickleball in Troy - I wish I had many more interactions with him. I remember Joe getting the "yips" while serving and only getting two services in the entire game - faulting every other time. Even at that, with Joe's excellent play, we managed to win the game against good competition. Joe's powerful drives from the baseline could go right through you if you didn't get out of the way.

During COVID Joe, Andy Little and I would pound tennis balls at local courts when indoor pickleball was no possible. I fondly remember those days and recall trying not to get hit by the blistering balls he hit.

I invited Joe to come to Colombia with me for a visit - I think he would have liked it here and regret that I never convinced him to join me.

Joe is gone much too soon, and a lot of people who knew him, and even more that had not yet met him, will and would miss out on happy memories that will never come.

Very sorry to hear of Joe's passing. As an IDS and UM engineering customer of mine I was blessed with the gift of working and socializing with Joe. He was very special. Smart, detailed, fair, ethical, calm, patient, funny and just enjoyable to be around. He taught me a lot over the years and I am grateful to have known him. He will be missed. God Bless Joe.

So incredibly sorry to hear of the passing of Joe. It was always a pleasure to play tennis with him and be in his company. I always looked forward to his friendliness and quick wits. I will miss him dearly.

I was fortunate having met (and worked with) Joe for 30-years. He was perpetually kind, intelligent, modest, and funny. In all modes, Joe was a great listener.

Deepest condolences to the family and friends of Joe Robinson.

It is with great sorrow that I say goodbye to a wonderful colleague and friend. Joe brought kindness and dedication to everything we shared at work... in the office, on the softball field, or at an event. He made an impact on me, and all who worked with him. He will be dearly missed.
May his memory live on in the lives he touched. Wishing comfort and peace to his loved ones during this difficult time.

Eternal rest grand unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.

My wife and I send our thoughts and prayers to Joe's family in this difficult time. Im here at the Corrado Pickleball courts this very moment to pay homage to a man that
my wife Tina and I shared many competitive fun loving moments with on the court. The moments of joy and laughter we had with Joe live on, and we are better people for having known him. He will be missed...but NEVER forgotten.

We had the pleasure of meeting Joe about 2 years ago playing pickleball! (A sport he loved) We played pickleball with Joe a couple times a week at the LAD, Bicentennial park and Corrado park. The 1st time we met Joe we were like who is this guy that drives the ball every time and even became frustrated with him, then we got to talking to Joe and immediately had found a new friend as his personality just made you want to be around him as he would consistently joke or build you about how good of a player you might be! Long story short we consider ourselves extremely lucky to have known him and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and anyone who knew him as we have all lost a positive light in our life.
