Joe Rodriguez Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Einan's at Hillcrest - Pasco on Dec. 7, 2022.
Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather Jose "Joe" A. Rodriguez, 79, of Pasco, WA; went to be with Our Lord on December 2, 2022. He passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Joe was born on November 10, 1943, in Guanajuato, Mexico to Felipe R. and Maria N. Rodriguez. He married his wife Bacilia, on January 14, 1978. He owned his own trucking business and worked as a long-haul trucker for most of his adult life. He loved being on the road and traveled all over the country. He was proud to have become a naturalized United States citizen in 1998. Joe looked forward to meeting up with his friends for coffee, which they did almost daily. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, whether it was a trip to the beach or an afternoon at the park. In the summer, you could guarantee he'd be jumping in the water to go for a quick swim. He always enjoyed spending time with his family, oftentimes traveling out of state to visit his brothers and sisters. He was immensely proud of his grandchildren and loved spending time with them. He loved his wife Bacilia and celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary this year. Joe was preceded in death by his son, Glen; his grandson, Andre; his parents Felipe and Maria; his brothers Rudy, Robert and Juan; and his sister Rosie. Joe is survived by his wife Bacilia, his children Andy (Heather), Armando (Amy), and Ramona; his grandchildren, Anthony, Desiree, Sonjia, Tehana, Gunnar and Grey; his brothers Abel and Amadeo; sisters Gloria, Gracie Garza, Minerva Vidaurri, Oralia Vidaurri and Linda.
A public viewing will be held Thursday, December 8th from 4:00-8:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 6:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 2804 W. Lewis, Pasco, WA. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, December 9th at 11:00 A.M. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1320 W. Henry St., Pasco, WA.
