Joe Dallas Singleton was born May 1, 1932, to Annie Singleton and Charlie Thomas in Irvine, Florida.
The clock of life exchanged time for eternity for Joe Dallas Singleton, he was greeted in the early morning hours on Monday, October 28, 2024, by the winds of Angels. He was preceded in death by his parents: father, Charlie Thoms, mother, Annie Singleton Henderson, wife Erma Singleton, daughter Marilyn Singleton, brothers Milton A. Singleton (Miriam), JC Thomas, and EC Thomas; sisters Ruby Jackson (John), Angerine Thagard, and Susie Young (Billy).
Mr. Joe Dallas Singleton leaves to cherish his loving memories his children Angie Lee, Sheddrick Singleton (Charlie), Vivian Lang (Wallace), Dalphine Bradley (Robert), Joe D. Singleton Jr., and Cassandra Singleton; thirteen grandchildren Atoria Griffin, Angel Lee, Sheddrick (Jennifer) Singleton, Natasha (Brian) Leverett, Malcolm (Calandra) Lang, Bridgette Lang, Marilyn Mitchell, Kayla Bradley, Robert Bradley III, Tracey (Levester) Daniels, Joanna (Marqintae) Smith, Andrea Singleton, and James Mitchell; twenty great grandchildren; one brother-in-law Thomas Thagard; one sister-in-law Annie Faye Thomas; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Public Viewing will be on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 1pm until 6pm, at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th St, Ocala, Fl 34475.
The Celebration of Life for Joe D. Singleton, Sr. will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Greater New Bethel Baptist Church, 10215 NW 177th Pl, Reddick, FL.
