To Mr. Joe's family, he will be missed and I will always smile when I think of him. He was so good to me in my 14 years as a Rotarian in that club and I vividly remember his oilfield stories and his love for pork chops and LSU football. I also remember him telling me he was a childhood friend of Glen Campbell in Arkansas. Rest well, Mr. Joe. You ran a good race.

It was always a pleasure to be with Mr. Joe. He was kind, gentle and genuine. St. Martinville has lost a good soldier. Rest in peace, Mr. Joe. Salute!

I am truly sorry to hear of Mr. Joe's passing. I have known him and his family most of my life. Mr. Joe was a man with kindness and compassion, but most of all he always showed interest and concern for others, he was a gentle giant. May your sweet memories fill your hearts with peace and happiness as he enters paradise with Our Lord and his family that has gone before him., I will always remember the times I would have the gang come over to the house for New Year's Eve, we had nice time's, many good memories, everybody loved Papa Joe..a wonderful man. He will be missed by many..RIP

Mr. Joe was always such a delight to be around when we'd see him out and about. It was always a good time when he and his family would help celebrate holidays at Eboo's house.
