Joe will be missed. I discovered his advice while searching for cancer cures for my little brother. We were told he'd not survive chemo/surgeries for more than 18 months--yet he's still here, 4 years later, because of healthy advice. Lifting his wife, Betty, & family in prayer. May you feel comforted by the Peace which passes all understanding, and the Love that never dies. Warm regards & big hugs. xoxo

I will miss you Joe. I am 55 years old. I first heard of you back in 1979 when Frank Zane was winning his third Olympia. I have spent my adult life using your principles in the weight room and in life. You were a second father to me, especially when my father came here from Canada, so I felt I could relate to you perhaps better. Thanks for everything you have done to inspire my life and millions of others just like me. I can assure you that all of us unknowns loved you as much as our betters whom you made into champions. It has been fun. Who knows, maybe I will meet you in heaven. God bless you and keep you and your beloved wife Betty.

My most sincere sympathy to the family, relatives, friends and fans of Joe around the world. He was truly a great man and as an overweight teen, helped to inspire me to trim down and build up my physique through his strength and muscle building courses during the early "70's. I have never been the same since and still continue to workout to this day. Thank You Joe for all of us who you have helped to realize our inner potential during all these years. Merci Beaucoup and Au Revoir. God BLess you and your wonderful family and wife with the knowledge that you have lived a life, well lived and rich and left behind a permanent legacy to those of us in the fitness world.
