Joel Dotson Obituary
Affectionately known as Jolene to her family, she was a native of Buncombe County but had moved to Tennessee to reside with her son a few months ago. She was a daughter of the late Joseph Daniel and Laura Crunkleton DeBord. Jolene worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville for a number of years.
She is survived by a son, Alex Pope of Blaine, Tennessee; and two sisters, Viki Moore of Maryville, Tennessee and Kathy Jolly (Tom) of Blairsville, Georgia.
At Jolene's request, no immediate services are planned.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ABCCM, Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry, 20 Twentieth Street, Asheville, NC 28806.
The care of Ms. Dotson has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Homes of Canton and an online memorial register is available at "Obituaries" at www.wellsfuneralhome.com
