Joel Gordon Eichenbaum, 78, beloved husband and father, dedicated United States Veteran, and Packer fan, of Beloit, Wisconsin, passed away at his home on Thursday, December 11, 2025

Joel was born on Thursday, February 20, 1947, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of Sam and Bertha (Goldberg) Eichenbaum.

After graduating from high school, Joel enlisted in the United States Army. He then served in and was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps. Joel was married to the former Linda Jean Prescher. He worked for many years as an executive chef in various restaurants. Joel was a long-time member of the Mead-Allen VFW, Post 2306 in Beloit. He had a passion for classic cars and attending car shows whenever he could.

Joel is survived by his wife, Linda; daughters, Shari (Tom) Thingvold, Kathy (Harry) Burr, and Misty (Mike) Wells; son, John (Joselyn) White; grandchildren, Drayke Kohler-White, Ethan Burr, and Evelyn Wells; nieces, Stacey (Raymond) Guerndt, Shelby Eichenbaum, and Rana Eichenbaum; nephew, Sam Eichenbaum; grand-nephew, Deqwaun Hunter; grand-niece, Chassity Eichenbaum; and a good friend and fellow marine, John Burwitz. Joel was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Bertha Eichenbaum; brother, Bernard "Bobby" (the late Judy) Eichenbaum; and daughter, Sandra Eichenbaum.

Visitation is 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Hansen-Gravitt Funeral Home, 424 Prospect Street, Beloit, Wisconsin 53511. Private committal with military honors provided by the Mead Allen VFW Post 2306 will take place on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Eastlawn Cemetery in Beloit, Wisconsin with Rabbi Shlomo Wing of Congregation B'nai Abraham in Beloit, Wisconsin officiating.
