I met Joel in the ANG many moons ago. What I remember of Joel he was a little quiet, but interesting to talk with. Our time we got to see each other was during drill weekend, so I did not get to really know him. It is sad when former co workers pass on especially at a young age. My condolences to his family and close friends.

It was truly an honor to be a co-worker and friend of Joel's. RIP Joel and let your EMS brothers and sisters take it from here.
