Joel Freeze Obituary
August 30, 1948 - April 25, 2021
Mr. Joel Nathan Freeze, 72, of Concord, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, April 25, 2021, after a six-month battle with MDS cancer.
The family will receive friends beginning at 12 p.m., Thursday, April 29, at Wilkinson Funeral Home, with burial to follow in a private memorial service for the family at Oakwood Cemetery.
Joel was born Aug. 30, 1948, in Concord, to the late Nathan Faggart Freeze and Edna Hartsell Freeze.
He graduated with Central Cabarrus High School's Class of 1967 and entered the U.S. Navy. Joel came back to Concord where his professional career as a packaging designer spanned 46 years at Snyder Packaging, Inc. He loved his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and enjoyed island cruising.
Those left to cherish Joel's memory are his wife of 52 years, Bethly Morley Freeze; son, Jonathan Freeze; brother, Jerle Freeze and sister-in-law, Debbie, and a number of loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kerr Memorial Baptist Church at 25 Hwy. 49 S, Concord, NC 28025-8936.
