In memory of
Sharon and Leo Orkin
July 27, 2025
Joel was a very nice man who shall be missed. We had the pleasure of knowing Joel and his late wife, Marilyn, and spent time together in Florida. May he rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with your entire family.

Joel was such a great man with a heart of gold and a special soul. He and Marilyn were there for Scott and I when Scott's mother Ina passed away. Joel and Marilyn stayed at the hospital with us the entire time and sat with us at our home until sundown. As we grieved Ina's passing, Joel comforted us like a father comforts his children. Marilyn was Ina's best friend and Joel was a great mentor to Scott. This Earth may now be one less great man, but Joel's children, all the memories we all have of him, and his good deeds keep Joel alive forever. Thank you Joel for always being there for Scott.
To Joel's children,
You both have been extremely blessed to have Joel as your dad. Take comfort in knowing that because you both are a part of your dad he will never leave you. While you take all of the time you need to grieve, think of memories of him that make you both smile and laugh. He would totally want that. He may not physically be here with you but he's very much alive through you.
With love and compassion,
The Rockmans

I met Mr. Geller through his son, Steve. I remember him as a smiling, kind man, and an interesting (and interested!) conversationalist. And handsome, with lively eyes! Sympathy to Steve and Sherri, their family, and the many friends who mourn him.

I was lucky to meet this intelligent and insightful man during a family gathering on Cape Cod. What struck me most was the depth of his conversation and concern for others.
Over time his loving presence and generous spirit has revealed itself through many interactions with family, specifically my dear friend Julie, whom he treated so well and who felt so much joy knowing that her mother was so cherished. Because of that my admiration for Joel Geller continued to grow.
What a good man.
A life well lived and a heart well loved.
A man who touched many lives and made the world a better place.
Rest in Peace.
