Joel Locklear Obituary
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Grace Locklear.
Mr. Locklear leaves to cherish his memories, his sisters: Dorothy Locklear of the home, Glory Gutierrez (Larry) of Raeford, and Joann Byrum of Greensboro as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mr. Locklear enjoyed the outdoors. He had a green thumb and could make anything flourish and grow. He also enjoyed fishing and playing the bass guitar. He has left an immeasurable void in our hearts, but he also left behind an immeasurable amount of memories and love.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 10-11 A.M. at Boles Funeral Home in Red Springs. The funeral will begin immediately following the visitation beginning at 11 A.M. Burial will follow at Friendly Temple Church Cemetery.
