Joel Colgan Orr

Joel Colgan Orr, 18, of Rising Sun, MD, passed away suddenly at his home May 23, 2012. Born in Elkton, MD on July 17, 1993, Joel was the son of Joseph Wilson Orr, III and Toni Wiley Orr. He was employed at North American Industrial and worked in the environmental division. Joel loved music and was a talented guitar player. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a proud uncle. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister Justin Orr of Rising Sun, brother Jared Orr, also of Rising Sun; his grandmothers, Patricia Wiley and Betty Burton; his niece Jayde. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry Wiley, Jr. and Joseph Orr, Jr. A celebration of Joel's life will be held at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 S. Queen St., Rising Sun, MD 21911 on Tuesday May 29, 2012 from 6 - 8:00 p.m. Burial will be private. Charitable contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
