Joel Ruttenberg Obituary
Joel was born on October 14, 1942, in Washington, D.C., to the late Stanley and Gertrude Ruttenberg. Joel served in the U.S. Army Reserves, for six years.
He was a graduate of Hamline University in St. Paul, MN, receiving his B. A. in Economics. He worked for textiles companies in Manhattan until his retirement in 2008.
Joel is the beloved husband of Sophie (nee Cygan,) and is the loving father of Alex (Deborah) of Alexandria, V.A., and step-son Guy Pajor, of Jacksonville, FL. He is the devoted grandfather to step-grandsons Brian (Lyndsey,) of Orlando, FL, and Kevin (Brecklyn,) of Bloomington, MN. Joel is the brother of Ruth Ruttenberg and Charles Ruttenberg, and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his wonderful local community.
Friends may call at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Rd., Katonah, NY, on Saturday, May 10th at 11:30am.
