What I remember very vividly is the quiet kindness and beautiful smile that Joel possessed. He was one of the good guys and I know he will be missed tremendously.

Thomas Jefferson Class of '80 has lost another valuable classmate. "Rooster" as we all know was a kind and dear friend. We will miss you deeply. We will keep your family in our prayers. We loved you but God loved you best so enjoy your fellowship with the Master as you take your rest.
