Joenell Lipe Obituary
JONESBORO - Joenell Lipe, 87, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, at her home. She was born on Dec. 10, 1937, in Kennett, Mo., to Oval and Madeline Jackson.
Joenell was a dedicated and punctual employee of Southwestern Bell, where she faithfully worked for 46 years. She was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro. Joenell enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family, and she will be remembered as a sweet, caring woman with a gentle spirit.
She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Madeline Jackson, and her husband of 51 years, Orville Lipe.
Joenell is survived by her niece, whom she loved as a daughter, Vickie Snyder (Gary); her granddaughter, Krysta Richards; and her great-grandson, Mason Richards. She also leaves behind her Christian friend, Margaret Vickers, and her brother-in-law, Earl Parrish.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dierkson Hospice and especially to Josh Richards of Emerson Funeral Home for their compassionate care.
A visitation will be held today, from 12 to 1 p.m., at Emerson Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 2 p.m. at Oakridge Cemetery in Kennett.
