Joey Ray Christian

Joey Ray Christian, age 56, of Little Rock passed away on November 6, 2010 at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock. He was born in Little Rock on July 31, 1954 to Raymond and Marjorie Davis Christian. He was a heavy equipment operator who loved the outdoors, making and fixing things, and had a fascination for weather. He was particularly fond of the time spent working in the Ozark mountains of northwest Arkansas. “Mr. Fix-it� helped family members in many areas. He recalled many weather events and always monitored weather conditions so he could forward various weather alerts to others. His dry wit and humor will be missed. He is predeceased by his father Raymond . He is survived by his mother Marjorie; two children, Raymond Dean Christian (Bobbi) and Jennifer Christian; grandchild Fallon Christian; his sister Donna (Russ) Davoren of Norman, Oklahoma; nephew Brother Francis Davoren, OSB, Norcia, Italy; aunt and uncle Martha and Ted Mahaffey; aunt Venvela Ranney of North Little Rock; several cousins, other beloved relatives, and friends. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 PM on Monday at Griffin-Leggett-Forest Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 10200 Hwy 5 N, Alexander. Funeral services will be 10:00am Tuesday, November 9, at Griffin-Leggett-Forest Hills. Reverend Kevin Lyon will officiate. Interment will follow Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 Hwy 5 N, Alexander.
