Joey Lee Poe, a cherished family man, and a selfless soul, left this world on December 20, 2025, at the age of 53, in Falls Mills. He is lovingly remembered for his unwavering commitment to his family and his lifelong career as a Body Shop Manager, where his dedication and expertise were evident to all who worked alongside him.
Joey's love for his family was profound and unyielding. He found joy in every moment spent with them, nurturing bonds that will forever be cherished. He is survived by his beloved children and their spouses: Bailee Battle and Christopher Battle, Lauren Gunter and Gavin Gunter, along with his cherished grandchildren, Gabriel, Roman, Jakobe, Raelynn, and Addie. These precious relationships exemplified the love and devotion he poured into being a father and Pop Pop.
Joey's parents, Roger and Cathy Poe, were a foundational part of his life, instilling values of generosity, compassion, and strength. He is also survived by his brother Eric and sister-in-law Laura Poe, along with his nieces, Erica, Elisa, Emilea, and nephew Ethan.
Joey was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rebecca Poe, who remained his steadfast partner and confidant, and his grandson, Khyler Poe. Their absence in his life was felt deeply, but his love for them remained an enduring part of who he was.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Joey’s life and legacy during a visitation on December 28, 2025, at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield, West Virginia, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 PM. This gathering will honor the incredible man he was, the love he shared, and the countless lives he touched.
Joey Lee Poe's memory will forever remain alive in the hearts of those who loved him, a testament to a life lived with selflessness, passion, and an unwavering commitment to family.
