Johana Marie Palmerlee

Johana Marie Palmerlee, 89-year-old Woodland Shores (Cleora) resident passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at the OSU Medical Center in Tulsa. She was born on October 6, 1935, to Melvin Tom Browning and Sadie May (Larmon) Browning. Johana was a graduate of Cleora High School. She had worked at the Sugar Shack for a time in the past, but mostly a mother and housewife. Johana was married to Donald Allen "Coyote" Palmerlee, he preceded her in death in 2016. Johana loved being with her family, reading, doing crossword puzzles, going camping, having a beer, and watching Jeopardy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald A. "Coyote" Palmerlee, sons, Don Smith, Rex Chandler, and Skip Chandler, and a brother, Jesse Browning.
The family includes her sons, Wayne Smith of Woodland Shores, Tom Smith of Eucha, a sister, Debra Smoke of Cleora, ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.
