I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with John at BGCA. He had a generous spirit and was a true champion for youth, and professionals alike. It was a pleasure to know John. He made big differences , and he will be greatly missed. Peace to you all. -Jane Berry Deal

My sincere condolences to John's family. It was my privilege to know John, not only as a friend, but also with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. I am sending a memorial to the BGCA in honor of one of its true champions! John will be missed in all areas of life that he touched.

I only had privilege to meet John a few times when he visited Southeast Missouri Boys and Girls Club. He was instrumental at helping us develop a plan to start up Scott City club. He was a wonderful man with a big heart. Wish we had many more like him. I could tell during conversations he was a devoted family man and spoke lovingly of his wife and their recent special anniversary. My sympathies to John's family. May God bless and keep you.

We are saddened by the sudden loss of such a good man who had so many possitive things in his life. I do not drive by a Boys and Girls Club facility without thinkig of John nor pass up the opportunity to race with the ducks in support of this organization introduced to us when we first met John. He will be greatly missed here as Heaven opens its arms to receive him.
