John Robert Andrews Jr.

1943 - 2025

John Robert Andrews, 82 years, of Colora, MD, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2025 in the Laurelwood Healthcare Center of Elkton, MD. Born April 13, 1943 in Hazelton, PA, he was the son of the late John Andrews, Sr., and Helen Pluto Andrews.

John was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served from 1960 until 1966. He was formerly employed for over 30 years by the former Chrysler Corporation of Newark, DE, and for over 10 years by the Delaware Park Casino of Wilmington, DE, as a card dealer.

John is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Joann Marie Andrews. The Andrews would have celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary on November 27, 2025. John is also survived by sons, John R. Andrews III, Bret A. Andrews, and Shane R. Andrews; daughters, Dawn M. Jasinski, Stacey A. Jenkins, and JoAnn Smith; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his half-sister, Irene Wojcik.

All funeral services will be private.
